Why two yellow pencils?
Drawing and erasing – creation and revision, are essential to any artistic endeavor. This is also true in building new websites or revising the old. Perhaps your pencil box has ancient, broken, chewed up and point-less fragments—pencil stubs that served you well in the past but now you want to move on. Reach for a couple of sharp, shiny new yellow pencils, ready to draw the lines connecting art and technology. Pick up Two Yellow Pencils for state-of-the-art web design.
Two Yellow Pencils are a San Diego-based husband and wife team, Liz Hincks and Larry Groff. Both of us have made websites professionally for over 20 years. Recently we have decided to focus on making websites for painters, photographers, musicians, crafters, theatre companies and other arts organizations. Check out our portfolio page for examples of the websites we’ve made for artists and organizations.
Liz is a professional web developer and programmer with a BS in Computer Science from Boston University.
Larry is a painter and editor for the Painting Perceptions blog, which interviews many leading painters. He has worked professionally with web and graphic design as well as computer-generated graphics and animation since the mid-90’s.
